Commissioned by the local youth climate group YoungACAN, in partnership with the Transition Network’s International Transition Together Project and funded by the National Lottery, The Tale of the Wastebeast is a 2D animated story designed to teach children and raise awareness about our planet and the issue of waste. The film follows a group of young superheroes as they battle “wastebeasts” around their town. At its heart, the story reminds us that anyone can become a wastebeast—but anyone can also choose to be a hero.
