Oxford University Art Society, Visiting Lecturer: Developing Creative Confidence
In 2021, I was invited to Oxford University to deliver a lecture on Developing Creative Confidence for the university’s Art Club Society at Wadham College. I shared my journey of expressing myself through art, focusing on my digital diary series and how it influenced the direction of my later work.
Southampton University, Visiting Lecturer: Design Dialogues
As part of Winchester School of Art (University of Southampton)’s Design Dialogues module, I was invited to give a talk about my artistic journey, including my recent completion of a Master’s at the Royal College of Art. I discussed experimenting with new mediums, exploring professional pathways, showcasing my stop-motion projects at film festivals, and developing my creative brand on social media. The session concluded with a hands-on animation and sequential narrative exercise using flip books.
The Butts Primary School: Art Week
I designed the logo for The Butts Primary School and am actively involved in local KS1 arts and education initiatives, including the Alton Arts Festival. As part of the school’s Arts Week, I ran a logo-making workshop where students aged 4–8 created their own personal ‘logos’ and characters that told stories about themselves.
Young ACAN Group
I continue to collaborate with YoungACAN, a local environmental organisation focused on raising awareness of climate action. Over the years, I’ve designed promotional materials for their campaigns and led creative workshops with their youth group, exploring how art can inspire environmental awareness. Most recently, we completed an exciting project with local primary schools titled The Tale of the Wastebeast, for which I art directed and animated a short film featuring the children as voice actors.
